This is a 1/10 scale replica of Jorge Lorenzo's #1 Yamaha Factory Racing 2011 Yamaha YZR-M1 from Maisto! It is the same bike that Lorenzo is using to defend his 2010 MotoGP world championship. He is the 2006 and 2007 250cc World Champion and the 2010 MotoGP World Champion. Lorenzo made his MotoGP debut with Yamaha in 2008 and has remained with the team since. Lorenzo was speculated to be moving to Honda or Ducati for the 2010 season, but he ended that by signing a contract to race with Yamaha in the 2010 MotoGP Championship. Ducati reputedly offered him a 15 million dollar contract to take Nicky Hayden's position.
